We arrived in Gloucester at 5:30. It was a good and steady run that made a total of 10 hours on the road of which 6:30 hrs was in saddle. That concludes our leg from Exeter to Gloucester. The picture is our lunch break. |

We started cycling at 7:30, but with the traffic it took us an hour to get out of Exeter. It is another beautiful day (28C) with favorable winds and sunshine all the way. Superb riding conditions. The legs are all feeling good and we are covered with sun screen to avoid further sun burn. We were just outside Bristol by lunch time and should get to the next destination by 15:00 – 16:00 all being well.

We arrived at Lands End at 7 am Sunday morning and set off cycling at 7:30. It was a bright and shiny day but with a very strong wind coming from the west. Despite the wind we had a superb run up to Exeter and it took us about 6 and a half hours to cover the 120 miles. We are now all sun burnt and look like a bunch of tomatoes. It was a most enjoyable day in the saddle for every body.

The week before we set off

This week has been a busy week for the the team.
All the Bikes,equipment,and back gear was packed into the Van on Thursday night, Les and Alan set of at 6.00am Fri morning to drive to Rodgers in Gloucester, they will be there Fri night Load last minute supplies and then head to Penzance for Sat night.
Myself, Ed, Josh & Gary set off on sat afternoon, fly to Exeter then train to Penzance hopefully no delays and meet up in Penzance with the Les, Rodger and Alan.
Planned start time for Sun morning 07.00, ready for the big depart.
